Refund and Return Policy
Dearest collector, sorry to hear that there is an issue with your order. Please use the contact form at the bottom of this page to connect with Artwork by Despina and we would be more than happy to help you.
You may request for a refund or return within 30 days of receiving your order. If 30 days have passed, a refund or return will not be issued.
To be eligible for a return, the products must be in the same condition that you received them in.
Please note that commissioned work is not eligible for return or refunds (see more information in "Commissioned Work" section below).
Non-returnable items:
- commissioned work
- art that has been personalized specifically for you
Returns
-Commissioned Work-
Any painting that has been custom made for you is not eligible for a return or refund. Artwork by Despina makes every effort to communicate with clients that are commissioning work to ensure that along the creative process, you are approving the design and look of the painting. We work very closely with clients to ensure that their vision is realized and pictures are sent to you along the process via email provided in the contact page. We listen carefully to your wants and preferences and can make adjustments during the creation process. Once you have approved the painting however, no further adjustments can be made. The painting is then coated with 2 coats of varnish and prepared for shipping.
-Original Painting Canvases-
To return original canvases, you will need to pay for your own shipping. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. Artwork by Despina is not responsible for any returns that have been lost in the mail.
Once your return has been received, inspected and meets criteria for a refund, an email will be sent to you notifying you that a refund will be issued to your credit card or original payment method.
Please note that if Artwork by Despina is required to re-ship a package to you, you will be charged the cost of shipping.
-Fine Art Prints-
Fine art prints are made to order and go through a thorough quality control process to ensure the highest quality. If there is an issue with your print(s) and you would like a refund for your order, you need to ship the fine art prints back in their original condition. You must pay for shipping costs and these are non-refundable. A refund will be issued to your original payment method if the product received is deemed eligible (in its original packaging and not damaged).
Please note that if Artwork by Despina is required to re-ship a package to you, you will be charged the cost of shipping.
-Greeting Cards-
To return Greeting Cards they have to be in their original condition and packaging. You will need to pay for your own shipping and this shipping cost is non-refundable.
